Voltage monitoring relay
The voltage monitoring relay is a device designed to monitor and supervise the correct connection of measuring panels in electrical installations, particularly in substations and transformer substations. Its main function is to guarantee system stability by detecting critical problems such as current and voltage unbalance, overvoltage and undervoltage. This equipment is key in installations that require continuous monitoring to prevent damage and ensure the continuity of the electrical service.

SACI's voltage monitoring relays offer a reliable and accurate solution for monitoring three-phase installations in both three-wire (RVIA) and four-wire (RVIB) networks. Thanks to their advanced detection capability, these relays help identify and prevent fault conditions before they affect network operation, which is essential in environments where electrical stability is critical.
Our watchdog relay models are available in two configurations to suit different needs:
- RVIA (3-phase 3-wire): Dimensions 150x70x112 mm, weight 1.20 kg.
- RVIB (Three-phase 4-wire): Dimensions 150x70x112 mm, weight 1.20 kg.
SACI's voltage monitoring relays are designed to ensure efficient and accurate monitoring in demanding environments:
- Margin of detection:
- Imbalance 0 to 20 % of Vn.
- Undervoltage 80 to 100 % of Vn.
- Imbalance 0 to 20 % of In.
- Overvoltage 120 % of Vn.
- Class: 1
- Output characteristics: 250 V, 3 A, 300 VA.
- Consumption: 0.48 VA per phase
