Madrid Metro

Metro de Madrid is the metropolitan railway network of the Spanish city of Madrid and its metropolitan area. It was inaugurated on 17 October 1919 by King Alfonso XIII. It is the most extensive metro network in Spain, with 294 kilometres in 2019.
With a total of 302 stations, it is the third largest in Europe in terms of kilometres, after London and Moscow. In 2018, 657.21 million journeys were recorded. Madrid's metro network is made up of 12 conventional lines and the branch line linking Ópera and Príncipe Pío. In addition, there are three light metro lines totalling 27.78 km with 38 stations. SACI participated with AHM1 analysers and current transformers.
