Los maxímetros o amperímetros de máxima demanda BC_V están diseñados para medir el valor medio de la corriente eficaz en períodos de 15 o 8 minutos. Están diseñados específicamente para la medición de corriente alterna y cuentan con una amplia versatilidad gracias a su escala intercambiable.
