BEC_V maximum demand current meters or ammeters are designed to measure the average value of the RMS current over periods of 15 or 8 minutes. They also have a second scale that measures the instantaneous current. They are specifically designed for the measurement of alternating current and have a wide versatility thanks to their interchangeable scale.
