{"id":14007,"date":"2023-07-05T10:50:46","date_gmt":"2023-07-05T08:50:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saci.es\/?p=14007"},"modified":"2026-01-14T12:36:33","modified_gmt":"2026-01-14T11:36:33","slug":"saci-brings-technology-to-monitor-green-office-consumption-madrid-city-council","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saci.es\/en\/saci-aporta-tecnologia-para-monitorizar-consumos-oficina-verde-ayuntamiento-madrid\/","title":{"rendered":"Saci provides its technology to monitor consumption at the Green Office of Madrid City Council"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 29 June <strong>SACI<\/strong> participated together with other companies associated with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.anese.es\/\"><strong>ANESE -Asociaci\u00f3n Nacional de Empresas de Servicios Energ\u00e9ticos- (National Association of Energy Services Companies)-.<\/strong><\/a> on the day \u201c<strong>Consumption monitoring for decision making\u201d.\u201d<\/strong>, organised by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emvs.es\/OficinaVerde\"><strong>Madrid City Council Green Office<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Our commercial director, Juan Manuel Cumplido, explained during his speech the importance of knowing how we use energy. This is key information for making decisions and improving energy efficiency, identifying areas for improvement, and generating benefits for citizens by having smarter and more efficient buildings.<\/p>\n<p>To obtain information on consumption habits, SACI is committed to digitalising electrical installations with systems such as energy meters. This equipment is capable of measuring and controlling energy and, in turn, the cost of this electricity. They also facilitate the calculation of energy efficiency and identify in which areas or processes there are cost overruns or inefficiencies. They can even be programmed to avoid overcharges and penalties, adjusting consumption to the conditions of the contracted electricity supply.<\/p>\n<p>Particular emphasis was placed on the range of <strong>MID-certified meters<\/strong> (<em>Measuring Instruments Directive<\/em>), a common framework of EU member states, to establish defined accuracy margins and ensure reliable records. MID certification is now mandatory for all electric vehicle charging products. This standard avoids altered measurements and provides safe and reliable information for end-users, as was made clear at the conference.<\/p>\n<p>The Madrid City Council's Green Office is at the forefront of positively influencing citizens, identifying ways to modernise buildings, for the well-being of people, in a clear promotion of building refurbishment with energy efficiency and sustainability criteria. It is a pioneering project that provides information on rehabilitation and energy efficiency aid, and serves as a meeting point for professionals.<\/p>\n<p>It is also a public-private collaboration project between the Madrid City Council and several entities of the sector such as ANESE, the National Association of Energy Services Companies, as well as professional associations, associations, etc.<\/p>\n<p>With this informative action, SACI wants to bring its own R&amp;D and innovation to the people of Madrid, at the service of energy infrastructures, promoting the energy transition towards a more connected grid model, with total control of the parameters and costs of the electrical
