SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) is a control system architecture that uses computers, networked data communications and graphical user interfaces for high-level management of process monitoring, but also uses other peripheral devices (programmable logic controllers and discrete PID controllers) as interfaces to process plants and machinery. SACI was responsible for the supply of the measurement converters connected to the RTUs of the various S/Ss.
The project consisted of Rehabilitation of the existing Upper Egypt Regional Control System and SCADA System and Construction of the new Middle Egypt Regional Control.
