Open core current transformers for measurement instrumentation. They are transformers for cable or bus-bar. They are made of resin and its main advantage is the ease of installation due to the possibility of opening the core. They are more robust transformers because they are coated with resin, allowing their installation even outdoors.
TA_R models have different transformation ratios, for primary ones from 100A to 5000 A and secondary ones at 1 A or 5 A. Precision classes can be 0,5, 1 and 3 according to IEC 61869-2. Depending on the model and class, the power of the secondary load varies.
