Digital frequency meter
A digital frequency meter is an electronic device which is used to measuring the frequency of a periodic signal. That is, it measures the number of repetitions of a wave in a 1-second interval. It is commonly used in electronic circuits and systems. The SACI digital frequency meter shows the results on its display in the following form precise, This makes it easier to read.

Benefits of digital versus analogue frequency meters
- High precision: measures the frequency with high accuracy.
- Ease of use: numbers are displayed on the screen, making it easier to interpret the results and reducing human error.
- Versatility: can measure a wide range of frequencies, both very low and very high.
- Reliability: are less susceptible to variations caused by external factors, such as temperature changes or ageing of components, which increases their lifetime.
Fields of use of digital frequency meters
- Electronics laboratories: are used to verify and analyse signals from electronic circuits.
- Telecommunications: are useful for measuring frequency in radio and television equipment.
- Medical instrumentation: are important in diagnostic equipment, where accurate frequency measurements are required.
- Industrial maintenance: are used to check the frequency of motors and other electrical equipment.
- Education: are used as teaching equipment for the teaching of subjects such as physics or electronics.
- Energy systems: are acquired to monitor the frequency of current in power grids and to ensure the stability and security of power supplies.
This is our digital frequency meter
SACI's digital frequency meter is one of the devices we have available in our catalogue of digital instruments. It has 4 digits and is designed for alternating current (AC) and for to be installed on panels, It adapts perfectly to different dimensions according to the needs of each user.
It has an LED display with red numbers and a height of 14.3 millimetres. In addition, it has a high brightness so that the reading is clear and accurate even when the ambient light conditions are not the best.
It has a measuring range between 0 and 999.9 Hz, thus covering an area of wide frequency spectrum. In the event of exceeding the maximum measurement range, the digital frequency meter will display “HHHH”, thus alerting the user.
Finally, its temperature coefficient of 0,01% per degree Celsius makes it safe for use in different environmental conditions, as it remains stable.
What to consider before purchasing our frequency meter?
To all our customers, we recommend to make sure before purchasing that the frequency meter is dimensionally compatible with the panel where it is to be installed. In addition, it is also important to check that the frequency range of the device covers all the measurement needs you require.
It is important that you analyse whether the precision we offer is what you really need for the work you intend to do. In any case, you can contact us with any questions you may have. We will guide you in acquiring the most suitable equipment for your needs.
