ATU_ Measuring transducer

The ATU_ transducer converts an AC voltage signal into a DC current or voltage signal proportional to the previous one. It is necessary to use the ATUa converter instead of the ATU when an output current with live zero is required, when an output current proportional to the input from 0% is required and when an output in volts is required. Requires auxiliary voltage.

Their use has the following advantages:

  • Increased accuracy and reliability
  • Easy transport of the measurement signal by means of two small cross-section cables or shielded cable.
  • Possibility of computer processing of all the data obtained.
  • Low input consumption allowing the use of smaller measuring transformers.
  • Savings in materials and installation assembly costs.
  • Savings in the stock of measuring equipment by supplying a standardised output signal.
