Description: The measuring transducers convert any electrical quantity into a DC or AC current or voltage, and are therefore used in installations where it is necessary to centralise the measurements, allowing the signalling panel to be placed at a distance from the points where it is desired to measure. Conventional transducers (HV…) have an analogue output in milliamperes or volts, proportional to the value of the parameter they measure.
In this case, ATA_ transducers measure Phase Angle.
Their use has the following advantages:
Increased accuracy and reliability
Easy transmission of the measurement signal by means of two cables of small section or shielded cable.
Possibility of computer processing of all the data obtained.
Low power consumption, allowing the use of smaller measuring transformers.
Savings in material and installation costs.
Saving on stock of measuring equipment by providing a standardised output signal.
