Airport located 19 km north of Jeddah. Named after King Abdulaziz Al Saud and opened in 1981, it is the busiest airport in Saudi Arabia and the third largest in the kingdom. The airport is known for its Hajj terminal, built especially for Islamic pilgrims who go to Mecca annually and which can serve 80,000 passengers at the same time. SACI participated together with GE in the supply of the network analyzers necessary for the energy management of the facility.
Devices for measuring electrical parameters connected via TCP/IP were distributed for this project.
